In collaboration with other researchers, Dr. Adler Dillman has discovered Steinernema adamsi, a new nematode species that kills insects. This species could be useful for controlling pests in warm, humid areas where other nematodes fail.
These finds were recently published in the Journal of Parasitology.
The full article about these findings and the publication of this research can be found on the UCR News site, titled Surprise discovery of tiny insect-killing worm.
